One of the most unique things to a culture is holidays and traditions. Many holidays have their own types of traditions such as fireworks on the 4th of July or even a Christmas tree at Christmas time, however even these are not universal and vary by household. Let's take a trip to China and discover the ways they celebrate Spring Festival.
Spring Festival
Spring Festival, also known as the Lunar New Year, is the most important holiday of the Chinese year. It begins on the first day of the Lunar month, which will be on January 23, 2012 and the festivities and celebrations last for almost a month.
The most important day in the Eve before Spring Festival. This night usually begins with a specially prepared meal shared with family, followed my more chatting, gift exchanging and entertainment.
